§ 8.40.020. Designation of nonsmoking areas.

  • A.

    The owner or person in control of a public place may, but is not required to, designate one or more areas in the public place as a nonsmoking area.

    B.

    A nonsmoking area in a public place must:

    1.

    Be designated by appropriate signs prohibiting smoking which are conspicuous and clearly visible;

    2.

    Be separated from smoking areas by a minimum of two feet of contiguous floor space, a partition, or a wall.
