§ 8.40.010. "Public place" defined.

  • As used in this chapter, "public place" means any of the following places to which the public has access:

    1.

    Restaurants;

    2.

    Retail stores (except tobacco specialty stores);

    3.

    Government buildings;

    4.

    Enclosed building areas of primary and secondary schools and institutions of higher learning;

    5.

    Mass transportation facilities and terminals;

    6.

    Elevators;

    7.

    Health care facilities;

    8.

    Libraries;

    9.

    Courtrooms, jury deliberation rooms, and jury waiting rooms;

    10.

    Grocery stores;

    11.

    Nurseries;

    12.

    Indoor theaters, auditoriums, and arenas;

    13.

    Indoor recreational areas.
