§ 2.48.030. Officers.

The chairperson of the planning commission shall be appointed by the mayor and confirmed by the city council, and such chairperson, when so appointed and confirmed, shall hold office for a period of one year, after which another chairperson shall likewise be appointed and confirmed each and every year thereafter. The commission shall elect a vice chairperson and secretary and such other officers as may be deemed necessary for a period of one year.
