§ 2.24.030. Purchasing agent.

A.

Office Created—To be Held by City Secretary. There is created the office of city purchasing agent, the powers and duties of which office shall be vested in the city secretary.

B.

Supervision of Storerooms and Warehouses. The purchasing agent shall supervise any and all storerooms and warehouses which may be established and placed under his or her control.

C.

Adoption of Rules and Regulations. The purchasing agent shall adopt such rules and regulations, subject to approval by the city council, governing requisitions, purchase orders and transactions of business between himself or herself as such purchasing agent and the using agencies as he or she may deem expedient and advisable.
