§ 12.28.040. Deposits.

An application for a reservation of the civic center or any portion thereof shall be accompanied by the following use fee deposit:
A.

Base deposit equal to 50 percent of the applicable use fee to cover excessive clean-up costs and/or property damage during use. Such deposit shall be refunded by the civic center manager to the user only if no property damage was suffered by the city during the use, clean-up is satisfactorily completed, and if the premises do not require more than ordinary post-use maintenance.

B.

Deposits are never applied to fees. The deposit reserves the date and will cover any damage or insufficient clean-up resulting from the event.

C.

The civic center manager may adjust deposit amounts based on lessee's past history of facility use.
