§ 10.28.090. One-way street designated—Portion of Schwartz Street.

  • A.

    As used in this section, the following terms shall have the meaning and definition as follows:

    "Motor vehicle" means a vehicle that is self-propelled.

    "Vehicle" means a device in, on, or by which a person or property is or may be transported or drawn on a public street or public highway. The term includes, but is not limited to: a motor vehicle, truck-tractor, semi-trailer, truck, semi trailer or a trailer.

    B.

    There being a public necessity and for the benefit of the citizens of the city, and for the city, the south side of Schwartz Street is designated as a no parking and no loading or unloading zone between Getty Street and High Street during the times specified in this section.

    C.

    The one-way traffic travel on Schwartz Street, as stated in subsection B of this section, will be in effect as posted.

    D.

    It shall be unlawful to operate any motor vehicle or vehicle on the identified portion of Schwartz Street during the times in which it is designated as no parking and no loading or unloading, in any direction other than as above stated and designated.

    E.

    Anyone violating any of the provisions of this section shall be subject to punishment as provided in section 1.12.010, Fines and penalties—Continuing violations, of this Code.
