§ 10.28.060. One-way street designated—Portion of Zaragosa Street.

  • A.

    As used in this section, the following terms shall have the meaning and definition as follow:

    1.

    "Motor vehicle" means a device that is self-propelled.

    2.

    "Vehicle" means a device in, on, or by which a person or property is or may be transported or drawn on a public street or public highway. The term includes, but it is not limited to, motor vehicle, truck-tractor, semi-trailer, truck-tractor, semi-trailer or a trailer.

    B.

    There being a public necessity and for the benefit of the citizens of the City of Uvalde, Texas, and for the City of Uvalde, Texas, a certain designated area of Zaragosa Street is designated as a one-way traffic street from its intersection with the west side of Vance L. Chisum Drive to its intersection with the east side of Benson Road in the City of Uvalde, Texas.

    C.

    The one-way traffic travel on Zaragoza Street, as stated in subsection B of this section, will be in effect as posted.

    D.

    It is unlawful to operate any vehicle on the identified portion of Zaragosa Street which has been designated as a one-way traffic street, in any direction and time other than as above stated and designated.
