§ 3. Term of franchise.

(a)

The term of the franchise herein granted is for a cumulative term of eight (8) years, commencing on September 1, 1996, and terminating August 31, 2004, unless terminated as hereinafter provided.

(b)

The initial term of the franchise shall be for a four-year period, followed by second four-year period.

(c)

Continuation to the second four-year period shall be contingent upon the Company completing the upgrade of the system as provided in Section 7, below.
