§ 4. Compliance with applicable laws and ordinances.

Company shall, at all times during the life of this agreement, be subject to all lawful exercise of the police power by City consistent with the franchisee's contractual rights and to such reasonable regulation as City shall provide, and shall be required to comply fully with all federal and state statutes and regulations governing cable communications. Company shall make its best effort to notify City in writing of any change in FCC rules, federal or state law, or other events that would have an effect on this franchise.
