§ 8.32.030. License—Fees.
A.
The license required by Section 8.32.520 shall be issued by the city permit office upon the filing of an application in the form provided in subsection B of this section, and the payment of the fee prescribed in subsection C. An annual license entitles the licensee to operate not more than three sets of sound equipment at any one time.
B.
An application for a license shall state the name and address of the owner of the vehicle or vehicles, the name and address of the operator, the make, model, and year of the vehicle and its current license number, a description of the sound apparatus to be used, and the length of time for which the license is requested, and shall be signed by the owner.
C.
The fee for an annual license, which expires on December 31st following the date of issuance, is $100.00. If and annual license is granted after January 2nd of a calendar year, the license fee shall be prorated according to the time remaining prior to the expiration date, but in no event shall the fee be less than $50.00. The fee for a temporary license, which expires 30 days after the date of issuance, is $50.00.
