    Residential Rates.

    1.

    Variable rates shall be charged depending on the size and quantity of containers selected. This monthly base rate includes the standard weekly services as stated in section 24-46(b). Sales tax shall be added to fees for goods and services where required by state law. A separate deposit of $30.00 shall be required for solid waste services when establishing a water services account with the utility collection division.

    B.

    Commercial Rates.

    1.

    Once per week collection using a 96-gallon container: $21.00 per month

    2.

    Dumpster container rates are based on the size of container and frequency of weekly collections.

    5.

    Installation of locking bar device on commercial containers: $25.00 installation fee plus $2.50 monthly rental.

    6.

    Dumpster cleaning required by Solid Waste Director or requested by customer, because of odor or unsanitary condition: $50.00 per wash.

    7.

    Necessary dumpster cleaning and painting after a fire in container: $185.00.

    8.

    Mechanical assistance to customer to unload unauthorized items in container, such as appliances, couches, etc: $30.00.

    9.

    Manual Collection: $110.57 per hour based on the total amount of time including; but not limited to, travel, loading and disposal plus weight of contents.

    10.

    Special Mechanical Collection.

    a.

    $18.00 minimum for a volume up to three cubic yards.

    b.

    $6.00 per cubic yard in excess of cubic yards.

    11.

    Waiting time (blocked dumpster asked to wait): $2.505/minute.

    12.

    After hours special pickup of dumpsters (under two hours): $25.00.

    13.

    Installation or delivery of dumpster: $20.00.

    14.

    Relocation of dumpster: $20.00.

    15.

    The rate for services used by residential and commercial consumers outside the corporate city limits shall be two times the rate within the corporate city limits.
