§ 6.01.030. Animal control officer.

A.

There is created the position of animal control officer (ACO), who shall be hired by the chief of police subject to confirmation by the city manager.

B.

The ACO shall have police powers in the enforcement of this title, and no person shall interfere with, hinder or molest the city ACO or other authorized officer in the exercise of such powers.
