§ 3.04.020. Procedure for certain expenditures.

All purchases made and contracts executed by the city shall be made and executed in compliance with the constitution and laws of the state of Texas, including all requirements established by state law for purchasing and/or contracting by cities. That the city manager of the City of Uvalde, Texas, is authorized to purchase and/or contract for the city, labor, equipment, supplies, materials, goods and/or services for the city, in amounts not exceeding twenty five thousand dollars ($25,000.00), on any one purchase and/or contract without formal advertisement for competitive bids and without competitive bids and without referral to city council.
