§ 2.72.010. Texas Municipal Retirement System—Election to participate.

On behalf of the city, the council exercises its option and elects to have the city and all of the employees of all departments participate in the Texas Municipal Retirement System as provided in Title 110B, Sections 61.001 through 65.605 of the Revised Civil Statutes; and all of the benefits and obligations of such system are accepted.
