§ 2.44.040. Authorized tree species.

The plan developed by the board may not authorize any species of tree to be planted on public property except the following:

A.

Shade Trees. Live Oak, Burr Oak, Red Oak, Lacey Oak, Chinkapin Oak, Monterrey Oak, Pecan, Cedar Elm, Chinese Elm, Chinese Pistache, Western Soapberry, Bald Cypress, Magnolia, Arizona Walnut, Texas Walnut.

B.

Ornamental Trees. Desert Willow, Eye Necklace, Texas Mountain Laurel, Mexican Plum, Redbud, Retama, Crepe Myrtle, Callery Pear, Golden Raintree, Carolina Buckthorn, Golden Leadball, Chitalpa, Yaupon, Rusty Blackhaw, Texas Persimmon, Texas Pistache, Anacacho Orchid.

C.

Evergreen Trees. Afghan Pine, Arizona Cypress, Italian Stone Pine, Pinon Pine.
