§ 2.04.040. Presiding officer—Roll call.

The mayor shall preside at all meetings of the city council. At the hour of the meeting, the mayor, as presiding officer, shall take the chair and call the city council to order, direct a roll call, and, if a quorum is present, cause the unapproved journals to be read and, if need be, corrected and approved.
