§ 18.01.070. Certificate of appropriateness.

Any addition or deletion of landscape materials or landscape design elements need not receive a certificate of appropriateness from the HPB but must conform to section 15.26.010, preservation or removal of trees. Any person wishing to paint a structure within a historic district that was previously painted may do so. Structures that were not previously painted must receive a certificate of appropriateness. The city historic preservation officer and/or the HPB may provide review and comment as requested by the property owner with regards to color selection and design.
