§ 15.64.010. Adopted.

    That a certain document, two copies of which are on file in the office of the building official and/or the city secretary of the City of Uvalde, being marked and designated as the International Mechanical Code, 2015 edition, including Appendix A, as published by the International Code Council, be and is hereby adopted as the mechanical code of the City of Uvalde, in the State of Texas regulating and governing the design, construction, quality of materials, erection, installation, alteration, repair, location, relocation, replacement, addition to, use or maintenance of mechanical systems as herein provided; providing for the issuance of permits and collection of fees therefor; and each and all of the regulations, provisions, penalties, conditions and terms of said mechanical code on file in the office of the city secretary of the City of Uvalde, Chapter 15.64, Mechanical Code Adopted, Title 15, Buildings and Construction, Uvalde Code of Ordinances, are hereby referred to, adopted, and made a part hereof, as if fully set out in this section, with the additions, insertions, deletions and changes, if any, prescribed in subsection B of this section.

    B.

    Amendments. The following sections are hereby revised:

    Section 101.1 City of Uvalde

    Section 106.5.2 Fees:

    Central Air Conditioners up to 2 tons $10.00
    Central Air Conditioners over 2 tons $5.00/ton
    Motors up to 1 HP $5.00
    Motors over 1 HP $10.00/HP
    Work without a permit Double permit fees

     

    Section 106.5.3 Insert: 50%, 90%

    Section 108.4 Insert: $500.00

    Section 108.5 "not less than $500 dollars or more than $2000 dollars."

Ord. No. 2014-29 , §§ 1, 2, adopted Oct. 14, 2014, repealed the former § 15.64.010, and enacted a new § 15.64.010 as set out herein. The former section pertained to similar subject matter and derived from Ord. No. 2010-15, § 2, 9-12-2010.
