§ 13.16.120. Municipal reclaimed water reuse.

A.

Except as otherwise provided in this section, the wastewater superintendent or wastewater plant supervisor is hereafter required to collect the following fees on the sale of municipal reclaimed water from the city waste water treatment facility:

Effective Rates for the Sale of Municipal Reclaimed Water.

a.

Charge Rate: $0.02 per gallon for residents of the city and/or Uvalde County with proof of residency.

b.

Charge Rate: $0.03 per gallon without proof of residency of the city and/or Uvalde County but with proof of residency in a county approved under the municipal reuse permit.

2.

All purchasers of municipal reclaimed water must enter into a written agreement with the city agreeing to follow all terms and conditions specified in the purchase and sell agreement, and act in conformance with all current state and local laws regarding the proper use of non-potable water.
