§ 13.16.100. Septic waste charges.

A.

Except as otherwise provided in this section, the wastewater superintendent or wastewater plant supervisor is authorized and required to collect the following for the use of the city:

1.

Septic Waste/Chemical Toilet Waste Disposal Fee.

a.

Charge Rate: $0.10 per gallon for residents of the city and/or Uvalde County with proof of residency.

b.

Charge Rate: $0.12 per gallon without proof of residency of the city and/or Uvalde County.

c.

All septic waste/chemical toilet waste haulers must present generator/transporter manifest information.

d.

All septic waste/chemical toilet waste haulers must be registered with the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality as a registered Transporter.

2.

The disposal of grease trap waste, grit trap (car wash, mud pit) is prohibited for disposal at the city wastewater treatment plant.
