§ 12.16.010. Obstructing sidewalks.

The owner or occupant of property in a central business district abutting a city-owned or city-maintained sidewalk may place a bench or benches on the sidewalk abutting the property if each bench is placed so that there is a minimum of four feet of clearance between any curbside sign poles, planters, or other curbside fixtures on the sidewalk and the part of the bench closest to the curb, for pedestrian traffic.
