§ 10.04.010. Traffic violations—Record and docket.
A.
A permanent record shall be kept by the municipal court of cards for traffic violations, showing the disposition made, etc., by using the following method: A duplicate traffic card system and traffic docket shall be used, which shall be a permanent bound volume containing a replica of the traffic card stubs and shall be numbered so that each traffic tag and stub shall have an identifying number and a correspondingly numbered space in the bound volume. Each officer shall be charged with a certain quantity of cards when issued, showing their numbers, and when he or she returns the stub he or she shall be credited with the same on his or her list. Upon the return of the stub the information thereon shall be transcribed in the traffic docket book and final disposition noted when the fine is paid or the case is dismissed. The stubs shall not be destroyed but shall be filed numerically.
B.
Traffic cards shall be made out in duplicate as provided above. The corresponding numbered blank in the bound traffic docket shall constitute a triplicate which shall be filled in when the officer returns the stub as provided above.
