§ 2. Boundaries.

The boundaries of the city are as shown by the official map of the city on file in the office of the city secretary. The boundaries may be extended by annexation of territory; if the city annexes territory, the map shall be immediately corrected to include the annexed territory. After an annexation of territory until the map is corrected, the boundaries of the city are as shown by the official map, extended by the boundaries contained in the annexation ordinance.
