§ 8.28.060. Tank trucks and trailers—Construction, maintenance and inspection.
All tank trucks and tank trailers used for the transportation of liquefied petroleum gases within the city shall be so constructed and operated as to comply with the regulations for the design, construction and operation of automobile tank trucks and tank trailers for the transportation of liquefied petroleum gases as approved by the American Insurance Association and the National Fire Protection Association. Any person who shall operate or cause to be operated any tank truck or tank trailer used for the purpose of transporting liquefied petroleum gas within the corporate limits of the city shall keep any such equipment in good condition at all times and, upon the development of any defect that would create a hazard to persons or property, such tank truck or tank trailer shall be removed from the streets of the city until such defects have been repaired or faulty equipment replaced. Any such tank trucks and tank trailers shall be subject to inspection by the proper authorities at any time.
