§ 5.40.010. Carnival defined, permit required.

"Carnival" means the operation of mechanical rides, games of skill or chance, side shows, and/or concession stands, or other features ordinarily operated or exhibited at a traveling or itinerant carnival show, but not as part of a standing amusement park. Operation of such carnival without a permit as provided in this chapter is prohibited.
