§ 5.16.050. Qualifications of applicant.

To be favorably considered for a vehicle for hire driver's license, each applicant must:

A.

Have a valid state driver's license;

B.

Be of the age of 18 years or over;

C.

Have a records check made and not be found to have been convicted of driving without insurance or a license, DUI or drug-related offenses, reckless driving, or criminal history.

D.

The applicant shall furnish evidence of the issuance of a liability insurance policy from an insurance company authorized to do business in Texas, for each vehicle for hire to be driven.
