§ 5.16.010. Definition.

For the purposes of this chapter, the term "vehicle for hire" means and includes any motor vehicle operated within the corporate limits of the city for the purpose of carrying passengers for hire, except motor buses operating on a fixed route, specially chartered buses and rental or "U-drive-it" cars.
