§ 3.16.040. Waiving interest.

A.

The City of Uvalde, Texas, will waive the interest on any certain street assessment account, dating from 1960 through 1987, if the principal owed on the certain account is paid by June 30, 2005.

B.

If the principal owed on a certain street assessment account, dating from 1960 to 1987, is not paid by June 30, 2005, then in such event the principal owed, all the interest accrued to June 30, 2005, and all the interest accrued thereafter on the certain street assessment account will be owed and will have to be paid to the City of Uvalde, Texas.
