§ 2.88.300. Special requirements for flower receptacles.
Latest version.
Receptacles for flowers placed in the cemetery must be made of metal and must be sunk
below the surface of the ground. A grave may not have one flower receptacle on each
side of headstone. A flower receptacle must be an integral part of the headstone,
or, if none, must be placed in a concrete footing. Flower receptacles may only be
installed by a mortuary or monument manufacturer. If a receptacle cannot be installed
as described above, a person may provide a metal receptacle that can be staked into
the ground to be used to hold the flowers and it must be placed next to the headstone.
