§ 2.60.020. Judge—Appointment—General powers and duties—Terms.

The judge of the municipal court shall be appointed by the mayor and confirmed by the city council as provided in the charter. The judge shall have such powers and duties as provided in the charter and by the laws of the state. The judge shall hold his or her office for two years, unless removed by the city council, and shall receive such salary or fees of office or both, as may be fixed by the city council from time to time.
