§ 2.52.010. Creation—Composition—Term of office.

A.

The Grand Opera House advisory commission is created.

B.

The commission is composed of a chairperson and eight members, all of whom are appointed by the mayor, subject to confirmation of the city council.

C.

A member of the commission, including the chairperson, serves for a term of two years, except that the commission shall initially consist of four members appointed for a one-year term, and five members, including the chairperson, appointed for a two-year term. Thereafter, members will serve until their successors are appointed and qualified.
