§ 18.01.180. Appeals.

Any person aggrieved by a decision of the HPB relating to economic hardship or a certificate of appropriateness may, within 30 days of receipt of the written decision, file a written application with the city council, through the office of the city secretary, for review of the decision and the approval, denial, modification of, or deviation from, the HPB's decision. The appeal application shall be set before the city council at the first available city council meeting. The city council utilizing the same evidence and standards, shall deny, with or without prejudice or approve a certificate of appropriateness. The city council's decision shall be final.
