§ 15.28.040. Proceedings.

A.

The commission shall at its initial meeting, adopt rules of procedure. The rules must provide ample opportunity for presentation of evidence and testimony by persons opposing charges brought by the city or the building inspector.

The city manager or his or her designee must present all cases before the commission.

C.

The commission shall elect a chairperson and vice chairperson from among the members. Meetings of the commission shall be held at the call of the chairperson and at other times as determined by the commission. All meetings are open to the public. The chairperson has the power to administer oaths and compel the attendance of witnesses.

D.

The commission shall keep minutes of its proceedings. The minutes are public records.
