A person requesting sewer service within two hundred (200) feet of a main must pay to the city a tapping fee of fifty dollars ($50.00), plus an amount equal to the cost of the extension and the pavement cut fee. If a person requesting service is more than two hundred (200) feet from a main, the city will furnish the first fifty (50) feet of pipe, and the person must pay a tapping fee of fifty dollars ($50.00) and the remaining cost of the extension plus the pavement cut fee.

    B.

Outside the city limits, the person requesting the sewer service shall pay the total expense of providing the service plus the pavement cut fee.

    C.

If the city wishes for the sewer line to be larger than that required to serve the person requesting the service, then the city may pay the difference in cost between the larger size line and the line required to serve the person requesting the service.

In areas where the city has installed the taps and laterals, there shall be a special connection charge comparable to that charged by local plumbers.
