§ 13.08.010. Disposal of human excreta generally.

  • All human excreta must be disposed of so as not to pollute the soil, contaminate a water supply, be accessible to flies, mosquitoes, other insects, rats or mice, or create a nuisance, and must be disposed of in properly managed sewers, treatment tanks, chemical toilets, vaults or pit privies or other methods approved by the health officer. No human excreta or materials containing such excreta shall be disposed of in such manner that is likely to gain access to any waters except under conditions approved by the health officer or the State Department of Health.
