§ 13.04.040. Control of water supply—Notice when water to be cut off for repairs or extensions.

The superintendent of the waterworks system shall attend to and control the city's water supply and at all times see to the sufficiency thereof, and shall notify the community, unless an emergency requires otherwise, of the necessity of shutting off any pipe line for the purpose of making repairs, extensions, connections, etc., should he or she know beforehand the necessity of shutting off the water from any line of the system.
