§ 3. Charter does not affect city's property rights.

All real estate owned in fee or by lease, sufferance, easement or otherwise, all public
buildings, parks, streets and alleys and any and all property of whatever kind, character
or description, which has been granted, purchased or otherwise acquired by the City
of Uvalde through any means or agency and all causes of action, choses, rights or
privileges of any and every kind and character or description, which is now held,
controlled or used by the City of Uvalde for its own use and benefit or for public
use and in trust for the public shall vest in and remain in and inure to the said
Corporation, City of Uvalde, under this act and all suits and pending actions or claims
to which the City of Uvalde heretofore was or now is a party, either plaintiff or
defendant, shall in no wise be affected or terminated by the adoption of this Charter
but shall continue undisturbed, unaffected and unabated.
