§ 10. Vacancies.

Vacancies in the office of council members shall be filled by majority vote of the qualified electors of the affected single member district at a special election for the remainder of the unexpired term, as provided by ordinance. Vacancies in the office of Mayor shall be filled by majority vote of the qualified electors of said city at a special election for the remainder of the unexpired term, as provided by ordinance.
